TESSERA Psychiatry currently provides care for children, adolescents and adults. (ages 6- 69)
Yes. Appointments are provided through secure, HIPAA-compliant and confidential telepsychiatry visits. Patients must be physically located in Texas or Florida at the time of their appointment.
Services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up care, and thoughtful treatment planning tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Common concerns include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, burnout, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. Treatment recommendations are based on an individualized evaluation.
TESSERA Psychiatry is a private-pay practice, allowing us to focus on individualized care without the limitations of insurance requirements.
Your initial visit includes a careful review of your symptoms, history, experiences, concerns, and treatment goals. Together, we will discuss recommendations and develop a plan that feels clear, thoughtful, and collaborative.

No. TESSERA Psychiatry does not prescribe controlled substances, including medications such as stimulants for ADHD (e.g., Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin), or benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Klonopin). We offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and can discuss noncontrolled medication options and other evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate.If you currently take a controlled medication or believe you may require one, please consider this policy before requesting an appointment.
No. TESSERA Psychiatry focuses exclusively on clinical psychiatric evaluation and treatment. We do not provide forensic assessments, independent disability evaluations, fitness-for-duty assessments, custody evaluations, court-ordered evaluations, or psychiatric evaluations intended primarily for legal proceedings or litigation. We also do not offer expert witness services.Patients seeking these services are encouraged to consult an appropriately qualified independent evaluator.
No. TESSERA Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services. For an immediate safety concern, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
